It took about 3 years to finish this project. Starting with the last tune, in September of 2011; It was recorded almost entirely on my Tascam DP-02, then later transferred into Ardour, where it got a lot of touch-ups, and a few re-recorded tracks, before being transferred yet again to my newest recording rig. In the middle of 2013 (july i think), after I moved across town, and set-up a new studio, I recorded the middle tune. Yamaha NP-30, an Alesis Multimix-4, Rakarrack, and a POD XT PRO are the big culprits here, everything was recorded straight into Ardour. The first tune is another beast entirely, I used 3 different amps, a Peavey 115 TNT (Thanks Jason Thomas!), a Ibanez tsa15h through an open back Line6 1x12 cab, and my little grey Challenger through a Marshall 1969a. There was a lot of pedal routing, and huge sections of the tune are primarily feedback loops of pedals and DSP software with the outs routed into the different amps mic'd in weird ways. This was another tune I used the Tascam for, it was so great for capturing noise, yet so horribly unreliable (RIP). I finished doing the recording and transfers into Ardour in October of 2012. I remember recording the bass parts sometime in February of 2013. Alex did some vocals at one point, Ryan did some drums at another point, nothing we did seemed to work. I shelved it in March of that year, but resurrected it this last January, and dove back into editing/mixing.
